xLabs hosted our first Hack Night last night (Thursday) at Melbourne University. We invited developers to find some new uses for our tech. Impressively, several groups managed to produce proof-of-concept apps within about 4 hours and hopefully will complete their projects over the next few days! We loved all of the ideas people had, especially Justin’s implementation of Dasher, a unique text input system that doesn’t require a keyboard.
A lot of feedback on the installation, documentation and interface for our software will go into the next version, making it better than ever.
Many thanks to everyone who attended, hope to see you all next time!
